CandiBelehan locates near Penangungan, the most sacred mountain in the eastern Java. This Candi is believed to be the enshrining place of King Airlangga relic. The rectangular pond is in the front of the brick dam decorated with fountain stone sculptures. In the center was the statue of GaruḍavāhanaViṣṇu, now housed in Trowulan Museum. The other two side niches enshrine two statues of Lakṣmī, the consort of Viṣṇu. The temple in the form of a fountain is comparable to those in Bali as well as some Tīrtha in India.
